Snake

The classic snake game. Eat the apple and don't hit the walls.

1. The snake moves on its own: steer it to the apples. Each apple you eat is worth one point and makes you one square longer.
2. Press Play and change direction with the arrow keys or W, A, S and D. On mobile, use the direction buttons under the board.
3. The game ends if you hit a wall or your own body. You can't turn straight back on yourself: that key is ignored.
4. The speed never changes, but free space shrinks as you grow. Sweep the board in long lines and always leave yourself a way out so your own tail doesn't box you in.
